The week of Lauren and Dan’s Tivoli Too wedding photos was slightly hectic as we all had to prepare for some large amounts of rain. After brainstorming, asking friends and making phone calls we were able to secure an indoor location for the portrait time of the day. BUT as the day rolled around we had a gorgeous blue sky and no rain in site! It was a bit chilly, got down to about 42 degrees so of course I was expecting snow 😉 I always tell my brides it is the best when it rains the day before your wedding because the day after it rains is usually overcast (love overcast with peeking sun for photos) and the sunsets are always epic and I mean that night was NO exception. The sky lit up in a gorgeous coral color than quickly turned into shades of pink and red and was on fire! A lot of the time I am only given about 30 minutes for bride and groom portraits but Lauren and Dan choose to do a first look and we were able to capture some killer sunset photos with no need to rush around and I just LOVE that. It makes the day go by so smoothly and everyone remains calm. Lauren and Dan choose an evening start time for their ceremony which is stuning at Tivoli Too because of the color changing lights behind them. I kept thinking to myself when they were about to kiss, turn purple and pink, turn purple and pink and it did woo hoo! The party got started early and after enjoying a delicious meal, Lauren and Dan’s wedding party had a special dance for the two of them! I am grateful to have ended my year with such a sweet couple, apprecitive wedding party and stunning venue! I hope you two had a blast in Italy esp on New Years, gah jelly! Cheers to the next 60 years! XOXO
