I just love when my couples do first looks and Jennifer and Matt’s Pasadena wedding photos were no exception. I met Jennifer through Jaclyn my amazing team member, they had met years ago while working together at Yardhouse and became really great friends. It is always a HUGE honor when someone you know believes and trusts in you so much to have you capture their friends big day. Jennifer and Matt both got ready at a nearby hotel and afterwards decided to have their first look and formal portraits at Pasadena City Hall and boy were we swooning. The light was beautiful, the ground weren’t packed with other photographers and the entire wedding party looked on point! After having some fun and spending a whole hour with just the bride and groom (GAH I LOVE THAT!) we headed to Brandview Banquet Hall for their ceremony and reception. Oh and I just have to say best wedding food I have ever had… three whole courses of amazingness and as vendors we go to enjoy every bite, thank you so much Jennifer and Matt! The rest of the evening was beautiful from a variety of sweet speeches from their family and friends to dancing the night away glow sticks and all. We ended the night in the most epic way I could think of with some evening shots right outside in front of the Americana at Brand. Hahah I would have loved to have witness us running into the middle of the street (mind you they have a diagonal intersection or I may not have done it) Larissa with flash in hand ducking behind them and being standing there crouched getting the whole scene in haha. Shout out to Larissa for helping me capture their legacy I had a blast spending the day with you! Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Jackson! XOXO
