Khristine and Shelby decided to be somewhat adventurous and chose to do some Joshua Tree engagement photos. And I am absolutely glad they did! I did some research before heading out there and we decided to meet at one of the visitor centers since I was told you do not get cell reception in the park (which was correct) plus I wasn’t sure exactly where I wanted to shoot since I had not been there before. Once we met up, they hopped in my car and we started our drive into the park. We were lucky because the weather was perfect (despite some rain earlier in the week) and we had some beautiful sun, it only started getting cold at the very end of the shoot as the sun went past the mountains. I stumbled upon an incredible tree towards the front of the park and we spent a good amount of time at that spot because the light was to die for! I cannot wait for more clients to want to shoot out here! I am looking forward to Khristine and Shelby’s big day in San Diego this fall!
