Candace + Kyle | San Juan Capistrano Wedding Photos

After shooting Candace and Kyle’s engagement photos, I just couldn’t wait for their wedding! They chose San Juan Capistrano’s beautiful Plaza de Magdalena. They wanted an intimate outdoor ceremony with a classy indoor reception within a reasonable budget and this stunning venue was the perfect fit! Candace’s elegant and fun bouquet was filled with a simple color palate of white and ivory roses and ranunculas with lush greens and a pop of berry pink. She also wanted to make give the bouquet a sentimental touch, so she dug into the things she keeps for some inspiration, and she decided on a small heart-shaped pendant necklace from her late grandmother who had passed away only a year earlier. This gorgeous bouquet combined with the long, black bridesmaid dresses, the bridal party flawlessly complemented the formal Spanish-style venue! For their officiant, Candace and Kyle wanted someone that had a personal relationship with them, and her brother-in-law, Joe, was a great choice! As for the wedding cake, they had a 4 tier cake with white rosettes, a full gold leaf tier, and black and white stripes to tie in with their color scheme. (Talk about gorgeous!) Along with this, they also had a s’mores bar, which was a huge hit! The new Mr. and Mrs. set their first dance to “Say You Won’t Let Go,” by James Arthur, and continued the night of dancing to a range of styles from earl 2000s, 90s R&B and hip-hop, and some classic hits to make sure everyone had something they could jam to! Candace and Kyle want to thank their coordinator, Nilou, and their DJ, Alex, for helping make their dream come true! This wedding was so beautiful and elegant, and I am so happy I was able to be a part of it!
