Amanda + Steven Married | Disneyland Castle Shoot

jaimedavisphoto_6597 WOW OH WOW what a dream it was to capture Amanda and Steven’s Disneyland castle shoot at sunrise! I only wake up early for 2 things, Disney and vacation hehe. After Amanda and Steven’s wedding, Casey, myself and my awesome sauce hair and makeup artist Danielle had some fun eating dinner and browsing around Downtown Disney. We decided to stay on property since we had to be up at 430am for the shoot! We had seen rain in the forecast but being that it is southern California we just weren’t sure. Danielle woke up and as she was heading at the door at 345am said it was pouring outside, ekkk what do we do? No one was in the office yet so we went about the morning as scheduled. When Casey and I left the room around 530am it was still pouring outside, but warm, I felt like I was in Florida hehe. We met up with the Disney team who would be taking us into the park and knew there would have to be some decisions made. The second Amanda stepped off the elevator and saw me she started to cry, she was so sad it was raining and wanted sunny amazing Disneyland portraits. We talked over our options and lucikly the Disney team allowed Amanda and Steven to reschedule the shoot for the next morning, I was available and so was Danielle so whew. Since Amanda and Steven were dressed and all dolled up we spent about an hour hanging around the Grand Californian snapping some photos before the morning crowd started to pile in, in my opinon I think it worked out beautifully. The next morning I woke up looked outside and saw nothing but STUNNING toy story like clouds, which we NEVER get here in California esp near Disneyland. I told Amanda someone was watching over both of us and today was the day! I am so excited to share these amazing photos from Disneyland park with everyone today and to say it was a dream come true would be an understatement. The second we pulled through the gate by small world all of us just lost it, the music, no crowds and the magic that fills the air! Amanda and Steven it truly was an honor and I say we do this again in 5 years? Yea? hehe XOXO
